About

I am a contemporary impressionist artist, children’s author and artistic renovator living in the Midwest. I have an insatiable need to create and I feel so lucky to spend my life and time in these endeavors! My work is influenced by the beauty and energies in my life. I paint in a colorful, loose, energetic style. I’m not as concerned with capturing subject matter exactly as you see it, but instead, I focus on juxtaposing colors and capturing the light.

My artistic journey took a delightful turn when I decided to embark on a budget renovation transforming my home into the charming Tudor-style cottage I always longed for. This space has become my sanctuary, where inspiration flows and dreams take shape. I’m excited to share my journey of discovering the art of creating a unique, personal living space, proving that it’s never too late to infuse your home with your own style and spirit.

Creating brings me peace, joy, and freedom.

My decorative artwork has been displayed on numerous businesses and homes: locally at the J.M. Smucker store, Victoriana, The David Q. Liggett house, Furniture Annex, The Wayne County Courthouse, historic downtown Wooster, as well as in Scotland, Phoenix, and Portland, Oregon.

Thank you so much for being here and supporting my artistic life!
